NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - The community came together to celebrate Herb Geller’s 99th birthday on Dec. 12. Geller is a former North Salem News columnist and longtime resident in the town, along with being a WWII Veteran, newspaper editor for 30 years, leader of the North Salem American Legion, founder of Westchester Democratic Committee and long time President of Candelwood Park Lake Association.
