Alabama improved to 5-0 in SEC play on Tuesday night with a 20-point win at Kentucky, but that victory came with a heavy price.
That’s because big man Jordan Bruner and forward Herb Jones both suffered injuries during the game and couldn’t finish.
Per Adam Zagoria, Bruner is expected to miss a month or more with a knee injury, while Jones is day-to-day with a hand injury:
Alabama’s Jordan Bruner is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a meniscus injury suffered last night, coach Nate Oats tells me.
Herb Jones (hand) is Day to day.

Jones has been playing like a legitimate SEC Player of the Year candidate, so his loss will be a tough one for coach Nate Oats and the Crimson Tide to stomach. He broke his wrist last season, so fortunately, this injury doesn’t seem as serious.
Now, we’ll just have to wait and see if the Tide can stay afloat without these 2 key guys on the floor.
